Some buildings shouldn't look like they've had modern panic hardware bolted on. The Sargent 90 Series uses a classic crossbar in solid brass, bronze, or stainless steel tubing, so courthouses, libraries, historic buildings, and full glass entrances get Grade 1, UL-listed panic hardware that suits the architecture. Shop 9800 rim, 9900 mortise, and 9700 surface vertical rod devices in architectural finishes from Commercial Door Hardware.
A Crossbar for Buildings Where Appearance Matters
Most modern exit devices use a wide push pad. It works, but on a restored courthouse door, a bronze library entrance or an all-glass lobby, it can look out of place. The 90 Series uses a slim crossbar instead: a tubular bar across the door that you push to exit, the same form panic hardware took for generations.
The difference is what's underneath. Every 90 Series device is ANSI/BHMA A156.3 Grade 1 and UL listed, with stainless steel springs throughout and through-bolted trim, so the period look comes with modern performance.

Available Finishes
The 90 Series is built for buildings where finish carries as much weight as function, and its brass, bronze and stainless construction is what makes the richer finishes possible.

Why Order the Sargent 90 Series from Commercial Door Hardware
Commercial Door Hardware supplies door hardware for schools, healthcare facilities, offices, retail, hospitality, and institutional buildings across the country, carrying exit devices, exit trim, locks, cylinders, closers, hinges, thresholds, weatherstripping, and the parts that go with them from Sargent, Von Duprin, Corbin Russwin, Accentra, Schlage, LCN, Norton, and Pemko.
We help match 90 Series devices, trim, and finishes to the rest of the building's hardware, including closers and hinges in coordinating finishes.
Every item in this collection is in stock at Commercialdoorhardware.com and ships the same day because a failed exit opening is a life-safety and security problem, not a maintenance item.
