The Sargent 8272-BHW-24VDC-US32D-LC is a Behavioral Health electrified mortise lock with BHW trim, designed for fail-safe operation at 24VDC. It features a double cylinder configuration, is Grade 1 rated, field reversible, and comes without a cylinder. The lock is finished in 630 satin stainless steel for durability and aesthetics.

  • Electrical (Fail Safe) Function:
    • 72 function — Power ON, locks both levers
    • Key on either side retracts latchbolt
    • Lever from either side retracts latchbolt, except when levers are locked
    • Both Levers can only be locked & unlocked electronically
    • Levers can not be locked separately, only together
    • Auxiliary deadlatch
